Demolition avoided through sale to private owner

One of several Anglican churches deconsecrated on the Bonavista Peninsula in 2017

With origins dating to the 1790s, the closure of the church nearly led to its demolition. Parishioners and community members organized, petitioned the Diocese, and the property was eventually sold to private owners, with the plan to convert the church to a residence and arts studio.
